WELCOME

GeTaHead Training values its partnerships with others, promoting excellence in hairdressing learning and achievement, responding to all learners as individuals, enabling them to reach their potential.

We specialise in apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships where learners are working in salons, and only attend for relevant training and assessment to one of our resource centres.

We also offer a small number of non-employed apprenticeships for learners who would like to aim to find employment.

Throughout training, achievement is recognised and successful completion will lead to a City and Guilds National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).

Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment qualification

All staff have acheived the Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment qualification. The online courses provided by LSIS ensures that all of our staff are fully aware of child protection and focusing on learner welfare; making sure all learners are happy and cared for.

Value Added Courses

We are soon to offer a series of Value Added Courses to employers and salons.

These include courses in first aid (scheduled for 11th August - contact your GeTaHead Trainer) and Clipper etching. The first aid course ( gives staff the chance to attend a short course, which would be a recommended appropriate basic level in salons.

In the near future we will be looking to offer a course in Clipper Etching. This gives employers the opportunity to perfect the skills required in this key area.

Despite male hair stylists being some of the most successful in the world , we are currently witnessing a shortage of male hair stylists in our industry.

GeTaHead Training have had very successful male learners in the past and are running a campaign to encourage more males into our salons and onto our training courses.
